GRAHAM COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION )

STATE OF ARIZONA, COUNTY OF GRAHAM )
The Graham County Board of Supervisors met in a special session this date with the following present: James A. Palmer, Chairman; Drew John, Member; Mark C. Herrington, Member; Terry Cooper, Clerk.
Chairman Palmer called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance. He announced that it was the date and time to convene as the Board of Equalization.
Those in attendance in addition to the Board were: Jacque Attaway, Graham County Assessor; Helen Hicks, Chief Deputy; Clel L. Flake, Chief Financial Officer; Kenneth Angle, County Attorney; Neil R. Wolfe, Eurofresh and Bashas'; Frank VanStraalen, Eurofresh, Inc.; Anthony Badame, Eurofresh and Bashas'.
The first Petition for Review of Property Valuation was submitted by Mr. Neil R. Wolfe on behalf of Bonita Nurseries/Eurofresh for Parcel #114-19-008C. Chief Deputy Assessor Helen Hicks presented testimony on behalf of the Assessor's office followed by testimony from Neil Wolf. After discussion and upon motion of Supervisor Herrington, seconded by Supervisor John, a unanimous decision was made to uphold the Assessors recommendation.
The second Petition for Review of Property Valuation was submitted by Mr. Neil R. Wolfe on behalf of Bashas, Inc. for Parcel #104-30-030C. Chief Deputy Assessor Helen Hicks presented testimony on behalf of the Assessors office followed by testimony from Neil Wolfe. After some discussion, at 12:03 p.m. a motion was made by Supervisor John and seconded by Supervisor Herrington to adjourn to Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.03(A)(3,4) in order to obtain legal advice.
The Board reconvened at 12:30 p.m. and upon motion by Supervisor John, seconded by Supervisor Herrington, a unanimous decision was made to postpone ruling until further information could be gathered.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time and upon motion of Supervisor John, seconded by Supervisor Herrington, the meeting was adjourned at 12:35 p.m.
